Modification to VIRTUS Training Requirements due June 30, 2024 by all clergy, employees, and volunteers working with children.
(Approved by Curia at their meeting on March 5, 2024.)

Safe Environment Compliance Requirements
Deadline:  before June 30, 2024

Initial step:  Employment or Volunteer Application must be completed and submitted.
1.      Initial VIRTUS training for all new registrations:
Protecting God’s Children® Online Awareness Session Agana 4.0
          – updated November 1, 2021.

2.      For 2024, three (3) assigned training to be completed.  All past assigned training or incomplete not listed below are to be waived.

a.       Protecting God's Children Online Awareness Session 4.0_Agaña
b.      Mandated and Ethical Reporter Training 1.0: Reporting Child Abuse_Agaña
c.       Healthy Boundaries for Adults: Boundary Development and Implementation 1.0

3.      Background check.
Options:

a.       Electronic (Fastrax) prompted by OSE.  $38 fee billed to parish or school. Prior authorization is required.
b.      Guam Police and Court Clearances

Additional background check:

Child Protective Services Registry Clearance (BOSSA)
