What is a Vicariate?
A Vicar Forane is a priest assigned to oversee priests in a region of the archdiocese known as a vicariate. The Archdiocese of Agana is comprised of four vicariates:
Northern Vicariate (Our Lady of Lourdes, Santa Bernadita, Santa Barbara, Saint Andrew Kim, Blessed Diego Luis de San Vitores, & Saint Anthony of Padua & Co-Patron St. Victor)
Eastern Vicariate (Saint Jude Thaddeus, Nuestra Senora de las Aguas, Nuestra Senora de la paz y Buen Viaje, San Juan Bautista, Santa Teresita, Immaculate Heart of Mary, & San Vicente' & San Roke)
Southern Vicariate (Saint Francis of Assisi, San Miguel, San Isidro, Saint Joseph, San Dimas & Our Lady of the Rosary, & San Dionisio)
Western Vicariate (Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica, Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Our Lady of Purification, Nino Perdido y Sagrada Familia, Assumption of Our Lady, Our Lady of Guadalupe, & Our Lady of Mount Carmel)
