Young Catholics of Guam shared their thoughts on celebrating the feast of Santa Marian Kamalen and the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Dec. 9 as hundreds of island faithful gathered to honor the patroness of Guam and the Marianas Islands.
The Archdiocese of Agana sheltered with the rest of the island as tropical storm Kammuri passed Guam without much damage Wed. Nov. 27. Since Guam was placed in Condition of Readiness (COR) 2 classes were cancelled for Wednesday at our Catholic schools. We give thanks to God for keeping our island safe. Prayers for all others in the Marianas and elsewhere that might be in the path of Kammuri.
The Archdiocese of Agana celebrates Mass in remembrance of departed clergymen and religious sisters on Friday, Nov. 9 at Pigo Catholic Church several days after All Souls Day.
