The Apostolic Penitentiary, in virtue of the faculties granted it in a most special way by our Holy Father in Christ, Francis, by divine providence Pope, cordially grants to the Most Reverend Anthony Sablan Apuron, O.F.M. Cap., Metropolitan Archbishop of Agaña, that, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the diocese, on the day chosen for the usefulness of the faithful, after the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered, he might impart to all the faithful who participate at that Mass with a disposition completed removed from the affection of sin, the papal blessing with plenary indulgence joined to it, which will be gained under the customary conditions (reception of the sacrament of Penance, the reception of eucharistic communion, and prayer for the intentions of the pope).
The faithful who will have devotedly received the papal blessing, even if, for a reasonable circumstance were not present physically at the sacred rites when they are celebrated, provided that they will have followed those rites on radio or television with a pious intention of mind, will be able to gained the plenary indulgence, according to the norms of the law.
Everything to the contrary not withstanding.
